December is Impaired Driving Prevention Month so we're taking this opportunity to help raise awareness.  The US Center for Disease Control (CDC) states that 28 people die every day from alcohol related automobile accidents.  The annual cost of alcohol related crashes annually comes in around $44 billion.  Additionally, "in 2014, 9,967 people were killed in alochol-impaired driving crashes, account for nearly one-third (31%) of all traffic-related deaths in the United States."  The sad truth about these statistics is that impaired driving and traffic accidents are absolutely preventable.
